Welcome to the home of Cape Town Craft Beer Tours! Let us take you on a craft beer tour adventure. Cape Town is well known for their wines and we can take you on an experience of best of both worlds. 

 

If you are planning a trip to Cape Town or even if you live here, there are a few things that are a "must do" while you are here. Table Mountain, Cape Point, Robben Island, shark cage diving, trips to the winelands, Boulders Beach and the penguins, deep-sea fishing charters to name but a few. We have been doing these tours since 2007. We recently added the brewery tours option to that list of “must do” things when in Cape Town.

 

There has been huge growth in the global microbrewery industry and Cape Town has been quick to follow. To date there are an estimated 40 local microbreweries operating in and around the city. More are popping up all the time.

 

When visiting Cape Town or if you live here you will learn that Beer is South Africa’s No 1 drink and has been brewed here in some form or another for hundreds of years. The European styles of beer date back to 1658 whilst traditional African beer dates back even further. There is a rich and colourful history surrounding brewing in Cape Town and almost every local would be able to name the country’s oldest brewery.

 

Our tours are designed to get you out to these breweries, expose you to some wonderful tastings, and showcase parts of Cape Town and its surrounds whilst doing that. Our guides will share their knowledge and experience and you will have the opportunity to take some fantastic photos along the way. If you are taking a loved one on a tour as a special gift but beer is not your thing then have a look at our beer and wine tours. We endeavour to keep our groups small and normally run with groups of 2 to 6 persons. This keeps it informative and fun.

We can however cater for larger groups and corporate outings.
