Our beer and beer and wine tours are offered year round from Monday to Saturday, and are the best way to experience Cape Town’s beer scene or beer and wine scene. Whether you're a thirsty local or a curious visitor to our beautiful city, we've got a tour for you! Tours

 

Get to experience many of Cape Town’s Craft beers without the hassle of driving. We will pick you up anywhere in the Southern Suburbs or in the CBD and take you on a beer adventure. Each tour includes a tour of a brewery giving you an idea of how the artisans master this craft. We do tastings at each brewery or brew pub. At one of the pubs we do lunch. On our Cape Town Beer Tour we do a food and beer pairing which is included.  

Please note we may need to change some of our stops at the last minute.

Cape Town Beer Tour:  R950 per person BOOK NOW

 

CTBT's will pick you up in the Southern Suburbs or Cape Town. Our first stop is in the leafy suburb of Newlands where you will experience the look, feel and process of making beer in a large brewery. We will taste some of their beers before heading toward the Newlands Spring to sample the natural spring water (Water being one of the most important ingredient in Beer). From there we will depart to Foresters Arms where we will taste some interesting beers in a private setting before enjoying lunch in their traditional pub. After lunch we will head towards Woodstock Brewery where we will do a short tour of the microbrewery and taste four of their brews such as there Hoppy Pills and Afternoon Delight. Devils Peak Brewery will be our last stop on the tour and here you will have the opportunity to do a beer and food pairing with the majestic Devils Peak in the background. Drop off will be at approximately 5pm. 

 

Outback Beer Tour:  R1150 per person BOOK NOW

 

CTBT will pick you up in the Southern Suburbs or in the CBD of Cape Town. We will head towards the beautiful and historical Paarl region. Our first stop will be Cape Brewing Company. This is one of the larger microbreweries, at the famous Spice Route. We will then visit Wagon Trail Brewery and enjoy a beer tasting with 4 mini burgers. We will then head towards Stellenbosch to Wild Beast Brewery. This farm has a beautiful setting with Zebra, Springbok and Wildebeest roaming the fields. If you are not already chilled and relaxed at this point you will definitely leave your worries behind here. Next stop is Stellenbosch Brewery or Wild Clover and relax in the gardens while tasting some more brews. Drop off will be approximately 5pm.

 

 

Beer and Wine Tours

Get the best of both worlds. These tours include Craft beer tasting and Wine tasting. Pick up is at 9am at the arranged location or in the CBD. This tour includes 2 breweries, lunch and 2 Cape wine farms.

 

Constantia Beer & Wine Tour:  R950 per person 

 

CTBT will pick you up in the Southern Suburbs or in the CBD of Cape Town. First stop is  the leafy suburb of Newlands where you will experience the look, feel and process of making beer in a large brewery.  We will taste some of their beers before heading toward the Newlands Spring to sample the natural spring water.  From there we will depart to Foresters Arms were we taste some interesting beers in a private setting. We then make our make our way to Kalk Bay, in False Bay, where there is a traditional working fishing harbour. Here we enjoy some local food for lunch. Travels over Boyes Drive towards the Constantia Valley where we visit two wineries. (Wineries visited are subject to change but could include any one of the following: Steenberg, Klein Constantia, Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting, High Constantia, Constantia Glen, Beau Constantia or Eagles Nest). After having a peaceful, restful afternoon in the stunning Constantia Valley we head back to our drop off at approximately 5pm.

 

Winelands Beer & Wine Tour:  R1150 per person

 

CTBT will pick you up in the Southern Suburbs or in the CBD of Cape Town. We head out towards the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Paarl. Our first stop will be Cape Brewing Company where we will taste some award winning beers at the famous Spice Route, we also do a tour of their microbrewery. At Wild Beast Brewery you will experience the real craft brewery feel while sitting on the veranda overlooking the Helderberg Mountains and encountering the wildlife (Springbok, Zebra, Wildebeest etc.). We have a few options for lunch depending on your requests. We will also discuss which of the various tranquil and peaceful wineries to visit on confirmation of your booking.

Private Group Tours

From birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate and client appreciation events, we specialize in hosting custom, fun and memorable tours for any occasion. Private Group Tours are available by request, 7 days a week and are subject to availability. You tell us what kind of experience you're looking for and we'll make it happen!  We just ask for 7 days notice for the Private tours in order for us to meet all your needs and to tailor make your tour!
